Born in Erie, PA and raised in Mississippi, Marella Eliza cultivated the alternate version of herself. Poet, Emcee, Model and Actress.
Former radio/tv personality, Marella “Eliza B” began her recording journey in 2005 with a spoken word project entitled “Words Spoken”, and eventually added emcee to her list of talents after performing her spoken word live in underground venues in NYC. “I always felt like I could be an emcee because the art form is closely related to poetry. My biggest quest for myself became ‘what type of music art did I want to deliver to the public.”
Eliza B| Art v. 1 takes you on a short tour through FreeB Nation where all art forms exist. Combining both visual and audio expressions, Free B Nations’ purpose is to be your tour guide through a land of innovators and trendsetters.
“My approach to music is like my approach to life. I’m a self proclaimed Free B, living with purpose and without limitations; my goal in making music is to create what feels right to my artistic senses, in an effort to utilize my creative gifts.”
This project also features a music production group, Alpine Ink (www.alpineink.virb.com) and T. Alexander, vocalist/emcee, featured on “Stereo,” “In Action,” “Date With Destiny.” Together these creative minds complete volume one.
